From 13 to 23 June the Sofia Opera House opens its doors for a fantastic Wagner Festival, which includes the premiere of “Lohengrin” and the tetralogy “Der Ring des Nibelungen”.
Six festival nights await with the haunting music of Richard Wagner and the spectacular directorial vision of Plamen Kartaloff.
Conductors will be Constantin Trinks and Evan-Alexis Christ.
Today we present Stanislava Momekova, who will sing for the first time in operas by Richard Wagner. She will be the Rhinemaiden Woglinde in ”Das Rheingold” and in ”Götterdämmerung”, and the Valkyrie Helmwige in ”Die Walküre”.
Stanislava is a long-time soloist of the Sofia Opera, known as Violetta in ”La Traviata”, Musetta in ”La Bohème”, Gilda in ”Rigoletto” and many other roles.
